Q: What's a perfect daydream look like to you?
Lily: What comes to mind is the word calm. My mind fills with images of what brings "calmness" to my world.
Q: What things do you consider part of your "artist's toolbox" of inspiration?
Lily: My inspiration changes week by week. I like this though because it makes me push myself to keep creating.
Q: When are you most creative?
Lily: I am a night owl, so my new ideas for photoshoots are born at night.
Q: If you had three rules to live by, what would they be?
Lily: 1) Pray. It is life-changing. 2) Be kind. Kindness goes so far; it really is a butterfly effect. 3) Know when to laugh. Life is too short to not laugh at the weird stuff that happens to you...or your friends...or stuff on IG!
Q: Tell us about your process and inspiration behind this artwork piece. What is your daydream and how can people feel inspired to daydream during these tough times?Lily: “Give me the beach of give me death." Your daydreams can be hard to find it among your thoughts. However, I feel like everyone always has that one place they “dream” to go to. Daydreams are beautiful. Especially during these crazy times, it's a good way to remember good IS coming. Your daydreams can become a reality someday soon - we are in this together.
Q: How can we follow along and support your work?
